    Birth of the Flame

    By Ahyl | November 14, 2007

So, Here we are. Three years after totalling my CRX and purchasing my first Miata, I have decided to take on the rebuild of my favorite car.

I call it the Red. She is sitting right up front…..miata-hop

I have set a personal goal to complete this car in one year. I should also mention that I have only painted one car previously.

A car I like to call the White.

(If you need a name for your car, call me. I have a knack for it)

That paint job came out good, but not great. But it exists only as practice for my current project.

This leads to my philosophy about such things. D.I.Y is not the most efficient way to approach a task. It is definitely not the cheapest and it is a great way to prove to all of your friends that you are a clueless idiot. But there is the slight possibility that You will accomplish what you set out to do, and you can say with great pride-”I did that”.

So, Please bear with me and try to go easy on me when I make big, Obvious mistakes. This is part of the learning process.

As you can tell I am not a writer so excuse all grammatical errors.

One final word. I absolutely hate Disclaimers, We are all responsible for anything that happens to us. You should have more than one source of information (Hopefully from a professional) on almost anything you want do. That is all I will say about that.

What is the current line in Vegas for if the car is ever completed?

93 to 1 if the car is more than 10 years old and has all of it’s pieces.
