Ok, so it hasn’t been that long, but I had too many things completed in the last few weeks to get it all in one post.

By the way, I don’t mean to go off on a rant here,

We are all men. some of us smoke cigars, and shoot guns, and we like women.

I never quite got the critique of the Miata as being a girls car. Why isn’t a Solstice a girls car? A BMW z3? Honda S2000? or a Boxster? Those cars are a little faster, roughly the same size. In most cases they don’t handle the road as well. You can also buy a supercharger for a Miata, If speed is what you desire.

I think most people make fun of the car until they actually drive it.

I recommend anyone who is interested in this fine little car to visit the local Miata club or SCCA Racing site. Look for a Miata that sits lower than the others, it may have a Roll Bar in the cockpit. Tell the owner that you think Miatas are girl cars and you need to be convinced that they aren’t. One of two things will happen after he takes you for a test ride, Either you Throw up, Or you will immediately ask for more.

That is all I have to say about that.

As I have told my Miata friends, I think That I have been watching too may car restoration shows (Overhaulin, Musclecar, Trucks!, Horsepower TV…ETC).

I started to strip my car in preparation for paint. But I somehow ended up here.

Yup, no fenders, Hood, Seats, Top. I stripped the interior to properly clean the door jambs, and run wiring.

In case you’re wondering, It does great burnouts in it’s present condition.
